Based on the PowerBox range, RackBox may be supplied to suit most configurations of power, data and telecom connectors.

Equipment may be protected with a range of safety devices including MCBs, RCDs, surge protection and Master-Slave switching when required. ‘Clean’ and ‘Dirty’ power sockets can be indicated by colour coding for added protection.

The illustration shows a horizontally mounted unit, Powerbox may also be configured in a vertical format.
 
Finished in black, grey or silver and black, with other colours available to complement rack finishes subject to order quantity

Insulation:
Earthed aluminium casing with fire retardant ABS fascias. As standard a 2000V protective membrane is incorporated to give additional insulation/protection.

Earthing:
A rewireable external earth terminal allows the removal/change of earth bonding leads without dismantling the unit.

Fusing:
5 x 20mm ‘slo-blo’ anti-surge ceramic fuses.

Fuse clips:
Colour coded fuse clips (3.15A and 5.00A) to comply with the fuse marking requirements of BS6396.

Security:
Tamper restrictive screws (T10) are used as standard.
Anti-Flex system: A unique full length locking system, which guarantees unit integrity, regardless of the length of the unit.

Rackbox is fitted with two flanged endcaps with suitable mountings for a 19inch rack – standard height.

The flanged endcaps also allow the Rackbox to be flush mounted in other situations – see Rackbox Custom.
