Databox_smlDatabox may be used as a stand alone module for network applications or as a complementary Data unit to Powerbox as it shares the same alloy extrusion. 

A four aperture fascia allows high densities of RJ45 outlets using the industry standard 6C opening. Incorporating several of these in an extended extrusion allows a large number of data connectors to be provided in a compact unit. 
Databox may be supplied fully assembled complete with cables fitted in the units and terminated at the free end with RJ45 jack plugs to the appropriate specification. When specifications demand, specific brands of  cable and connectors can be provided. Please see our modular components for further options

 

Databox may also be supplied as an empty shell with fascias to allow on site installation of the data cables and connectors. 

Databox is available for 19 inch rack mounting; built to the correct length with brackets. 

Custom Databox units can be designed and built to specification where larger concentrations than allowed by the extrusion based units are required – see databox custom

The Office Electrics DATABOX can accommodate many types of data connectors including those to Cat5e and Cat6.

The modular design allows flexibility in providing data connectors or cutouts to meet the user's specification.

If a particular brand or type of connector is required these can be incorporated in the specification.
Office electrics can provide the databoxes fitted with data connectors or with 6c cutouts for data connectors to be fitted on site.

Data cables enter through the end caps of the unit as standard – when required, cables may be specified as rear entry to the unit.

The data connectors or cutouts are normally facing North-South but may face East-West if required.

The units can be up to a maximum length of three metres (Depending on the type of data, maximum lengths may vary, please consult our technical department for advice on special requirements)

Increased flexibility:
-Bracket fix - Office Electrics unique slide clip allows mounting brackets to be interchanged without dismantling the powerbox, thereby giving flexibility to mount the power box almost anywhere.
