The PLATINUM is designed to operate in the closed position with equipment plugged in. Capable of being closed with most standard types transformer plugs connected. When in the open position it can be accessed from both sides  making the Prism particularly suitable for the centre of meeting and boardroom furniture. Please see modular components

Power hardwired to Wieland ST/GST connector allows starter cables to be changed to suit requirements, especially during moves and changes (CHURN)

ANTI-FLEX system: Unique full length locking system guarantees unit integrity regardless of length

Soft Wired Data
As well as soft-wired power, PLATINUM can accommodate soft wired data. Using our inline couplers, data cables can be changed “on-site” to accommodate changes in length often associated with churn - Angled data fascias allow data cabling to pass straight through PLATINUM, ensuring the integrity of cables which have a minimum bend radii (CAT5e, CAT6, etc) (see below)

General Dimensions:

Office Electrics PLATINUM units may be simply fitted into most worksurfaces.
Cutout dimensions are shown below for the standard sizes of PLATINUM units.
Cut out the aperture in the furniture, then use the ratchet clips provided to fix the PLATINUM in place from below.
PLATINUM units may also be fastened in place using the screw holes provided in the end frame mouldings if the ratchet clips cannot be utilised.
If these fixing methods are not suitable for the application then please call or email for alternative solutions. For non-standard size PLATINUM please contact Office Electrics technical team for suitable cutout dimensions.
Of course the PLATINUM may also be mounted in a wall, screen or other types of furniture such as arm chairs and cabinets
